Awards and achievements

• Port Fairy Folk Festival 2005: best song for "tolerance, peace and understanding" entitled "Why not let a mother"©. Moira's win was mentioned in The Age newspaper in March 2005
• Pacific songwriting competition 2000: Hot Pick Award "Until you're old"©
• Darebin Music Feast Songwriting Competition 2003: finalist of 4 entitled "When you get to 40"©
• Commissioned by the Mercy Hospital, East Mebourne (where Moira worked as a trained nurse) to write two songs for the celebration of 30 years at the East Melbourne site, and to mark the re-location to Heidelberg in May 2005. These were performed at various functions during the past couple of years.
